Reset Yellow Cards on Competition Round
As an alternative to using the Accumulated Yellow cards console, you can configure resetting the yellow cards after specific competition rounds. To do so, you can use Reset Yellow Cards checkbox on Competition Round, which, if enabled, deactivates all accumulated yellow cards at the end of that round. It is most commonly used in elimination competitions, e.g., in quarter finals, so that players are cleared before the semifinals.

This reset is triggered automatically once a match in that round is finalized (set to PLAYED or CANCELLED), but only if all other matches involving the same clubs in that round are also finalized. At that point, all accumulated yellow cards for players and officials of those clubs are cleared.
Only persons who are currently registered with the club will be included in the reset. If a player or official is no longer registered (i.e., has no confirmed registration), their yellow cards will not be reset automatically and must be handled manually.
Be careful when scheduling matches across rounds. If some matches are played earlier or later than expected, the reset might be applied sooner than intended, potentially affecting player eligibility.
