List of Reports

Below is the list of all reports in the system, organized into Report Groups.

Organizations

The first section of the COMET Data app is Organizations, which covers all data related to different organizations under the FA (associations, clubs, stadiums, and intermediary agencies).

👉 Let's take the example of the user who wants to generate a list of all Active Football Clubs under the specific organization. In this scenario, the user will select the Organizations report with the parameters:

  • Association = National association or other association /+ user can choose to include all other organizations below in the hierarchy

  • Organization Category = Club

  • Organization type = Football club (Club)

  • Status = ACTIVE

Persons 

This section covers all data for person registrations, contracts, contacts, custom attributes, documents, titles, and licenses.

👉 This section contains one of the most frequently used reports - Person Registrations. Let's take the example of the user who wants to generate a list of all Female Coaches with UEFA B licenses. In this scenario, the user will choose the report Person Titles and License and select:

  1. Association = FA

  2. Gender = Female,

  3. Registration category = Coach

  4. Title/License type = UEFA B License.

If you want the list with the active Title/License, set the Title/License parameter and choose the ACTIVE status.

Competitions 

The competitions section will surely be the most frequently used in COMET Data. This section covers all data related to the competitions, matches, appearances, events, match attributes, and expenses.

👉 Let's take the example of a user who wants to generate a list and specific statistical information for all Player Appearances for one competition season or one competition. In this scenario, the user will select the Player Appearance report with the following parameters:

  1. Association = National Association

  2. Season = 2021

  3. Competition type = used to filter and capture data for a specific competition type

  4. Competition = used to filter and capture data for a particular competition

  5. Club = used to filter and capture data for a specific club

Disciplinary 

This section covers all data related to Disciplinary Cases and Sanctions.

👉 Let's take the example of the user who wants to know how many players got a match suspension in one competition during the last week. In this scenario, the user will select the Disciplinary sanctions report with parameters defined: 

  1. Competition = Male Youth League 2021 

  2. Case decision date interval = Last week 

  3. Offender category = Person 

  4. Offender type = Player 

  5. Sanction type = Suspension for a certain number of matches 

List of Disciplinary reports:

Events 

This section covers all data related to Events, including National Team preparations, Coaches' Seminars, and Calendar events.

👉 Let's take the example of the user who needs emails from all Coaches who applied for the Seminar; the user will select the Event participant contacts with parameters defined: 

  1. Event category = Coach Seminar 

  2. Event ID = 12345678 

  3. Contact type = Email

Licensing 

This section covers all data related to Club Licensing and Stadium Inspections. This section will be helpful only to those organizations that have implemented the COMET Licensing module and use the system to process Club Licensing applications or Stadium Licensing applications.

👉 Let's take the example of a user who wants to compare answers to a specific piece of evidence in the Licensing process, e.g., the Club budget for the upcoming season. The user will select the report Application Evidence with parameters defined: 

  1. Application type = UEFA Club License 

  2. Category name = Finance 

  3. Criterion name = Financial statements 

  4. Evidence name = Club budget

Admin

This section covers data on system users and their roles, as well as their activity in competitions, matches, or events. This section is helpful for administrative control rather than data analysis.

👉 For example, if you want to check how many active users there are in the system with the Competition Manager role, you could run the Users report with the following parameters:

  2. User roles = Competition Manager

  3. User status = Active

Payments

This section focuses on the Payments data within your Association, including the following key areas: items and orders, order-related payments, items, and item survey answers.

👉 For example, if you want to check how many orders have been made in some period of time, you could run the Orders report with the following parameters:

  1. Association = Your FA

  2. Merchants = Store A

  3. Scenario = Licensing or All

  4. Item Types = Clothing

  5. Item Status = Available

  6. Item = Shirt

  7. Order Status = Complete

  8. Date from/Date to = 11/12/2023 - 24/10/2024

  9. Customer Organization

You can also include organizations below in the hierarchy by selecting it with a switch.

Note that while this example includes all fields, only two are required: Association and Scenario.
