COMET automatically informs clubs and competition organizers by email about every relevant status change in two competition workflows: the competition application and the Roster Workflow. After each status transition, the authorized club users and Competition Administrators/Managers are informed and instructed on the next step required.
The tables below show which action triggers a notification and who receives it.
Competition Application Notifications
The Competition Application module is integrated with the COMET Announcements Extension. Notifications follow the steps of the status transitions in the application process, depending on the Application Mode of the competition.

Roster Submission Notifications
MyCOMET Features described in this article will be deployed on all Demo instances by 28 October 2026 and migrated to Production on 12 January 2027.
Email notifications related to Competition Roster submission follow the same standards as those for the New Match Report and other MyCOMET workflows. Once the team's roster is open for submission, the club is asked to submit it, and both sides are informed about each step of the roster review.

Notifications are also sent when a Competition Administrator or Manager carries out an action on behalf of the club, e.g., submits the roster for the club.
The notifications are sent to:

Club side - Club Managers and Lineup Managers of the club, who receive notifications on behalf of their club or team.

Organizer side - only Competition Administrators of the organizing association and Competition Managers appointed to the competition. Administrators at other levels of the association hierarchy do not receive administrative notifications.
