Match Requests General Workflow
There are two types of match requests:
New Match Requests – used to schedule a new match, typically a friendly match
Update Match Requests – used to request changes to the date, time, facility, or pitch of an existing match.
Both types follow the same process workflow

Club A (Requestor) must be a domestic club. However Club B may be foreign e.g in case of international friendly match. In that event the PENDING status is skipped, and once Club A submits the request, it goes directly to SUBMITTED for review of the Admin.
All match requests and match requests updates generate automatic email notifications to Club users and to Competition Managers or Administrators, e.g.
when request is entered by Club A, CLub B is informed
when request is accepted/submitted by Club B, Competition Admin is informed
when request is confirmed by Admin, both CLubs are informed
when request is returne db either Admin of Club B, Club A is informed, etc.
Some competitions may also require clubs to fill out a Match Request Survey as part of the request process. These surveys can include various questions or additional documentation. Match Request Surveys are fully customizable by the competition organizer.
