Match Requests General Workflow
There are two types of match requests:
New Match Requests – used to schedule a new match, typically a friendly match
Update Match Requests – used to request changes to the date, time, facility (or pitch) of an existing match.
Both types follow the same process workflow.

Club A (Requestor) must be a domestic club. However, Club B may be foreign, e.g, in the case of an international friendly match. In that event, the PENDING status is skipped, and once Club A submits the request, it is automatically moved to SUBMITTED for review by the Admin.
All match requests and match request updates generate automatic email notifications to Club users and to Competition Managers or Administrators, e.g.
when a request is entered by Club A, Club B is informed
when the request is accepted/submitted by Club B, the Competition Admin is informed
when the request is confirmed by the Admin, both Clubs are informed
when a request is returned by either Admin or Club B, Club A is informed, etc.
Some competitions may also require clubs to fill out a Match Request Survey as part of the request process. These surveys can include various questions or additional documentation. Match Request Surveys are fully customizable by the competition organizer.
