Search Coaches

The Search coaches console is used for searching through the system's database of registered coaches in your tenant association.

If a coach was registered in COMET at some point, you can find them through this function.

To access the Search coaches function:

• Click the menu item Search coach under the Coach and Staff module on the left navbar

• Complete the field with a specific search criterion

• Hit the 🔎 Search button

The menu item "Search coaches" will display an empty search form to enter any search criteria, which is displayed on the form.

It is possible to search using one or more fields on the form, in which case search criteria are combined. Also, note that you can use the wildcard character ( * ) when searching in text fields. For example, if you enter “ Fr*o” for the last name, the search results will show all players with last names starting with “Fr” and ending with “o”.

Example: After entering “Luke” as the first name and pressing the Search button, you will get a list of all coaches with the first name “Luke”. The last column in the list shows the Club where the coach is actively registered. If this field is empty, then the listed coach does not have an active registration. That means that the coach is available for registration.

Remember that every data list in COMET can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column name at the top, filtered by entering additional criteria in the filter fields at the top, exported, and hidden from the preview. Please use the buttons displayed on the list to conduct the described actions.
