Registration Approvals Console
The approval process for registrations is managed by Administrators, with varying access and responsibilities depending on their roles and the system's configuration. The Approvals menu is accessible to the authorized users in the left navigation bar of MyCOMET.
Administrator Roles and Tabs
Administrators will see tabs that correspond to their specific roles:
Players: Player Administrators review domestic registrations and transfers of players.
Coaches: Coach Administrators review coach registrations.
Staff: Staff Administrators reviewing registrations of team staff.
Officials: Official Administrators reviewing registrations of club officials.
International: Administrators of International Affairs review outgoing and incoming International transfers, including first registrations of foreign players.
Each tab provides a streamlined view of the submissions relevant to the administrator's role, and a numeric badge displaying the number of registrations where review from the administrator is required.

Filters and Visual Indicators
For Review toggle
The For Review toggle allows administrators to filter registrations to only those where action is required on their end. Its functionality varies depending on the type of administrator and the nature of the registration (e.g., player, coach, or international transfers).
For Administrators of Players, Coaches, Staff, or Officials
In this case, the displayed registrations are for a club under the administrator's organization.
When the For Review Toggle is OFF:
The registration is either in the status SUBMITTED or RETURNED.
When the For Review Toggle is ON:
The registration is in status SUBMITTED.
In case of player transfer, the previous registration is not in status APPROVED or CONFIRMED so that that the Player Administrator can approve the new registration
For Administrators of International Affairs
In this case, the registrations displayed are those:
Involving a foreign club (outside the tenant’s cluster):
For incoming transfers: The previous registration is with an external club.
For outgoing transfers: The previous registration is with a club within the administrator’s organization.
representing the first registration of a foreign player
In both cases, the registration entered the international workflow,
When the For Review Toggle is OFF:
The registration is in status SUBMITTED INT, RETURNED INT, or WAITING INT.
When the For Review Toggle is ON:
The registration is in status SUBMITTED INT.
The previous registration is not in status APPROVED or CONFIRMED.
You can also filter by:
Incoming or Outgoing - only for International approvals
Parent association
Ranks - defined by your association, i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…
Types - i.e., Football club, Futsal club…
Genders - Male, Female, or Both
Transfers - select between Only transfers, Exclude transfers, or Both
Registration types - i.e., Club Registration, Loan, Eligibility…
Disciplines - Football, Futsal, Beach Soccer
Levels - Amateur, Professional, or Both
Ages - Minors, Adults, Below AOC, Above AOC, or All
To filter by any of the previous categories, select an item from one of the filter dropdowns.

Note that the definition of Minors vs Adults is based on FIFA recommendations (18 years of age), whereas AOC is defined in the System Parameter (Personal).
Notes Indicator
The Notes Indicator is a helpful visual tool that alerts administrators to additional information provided during the registration process:
Notes are represented by three horizontal stripes next to the relevant entry.
Hovering the mouse pointer over the stripes will display the notes in a tooltip, allowing administrators to quickly review essential details without opening the whole record.

Sorting of approvals
The sorting option lets you organize approvals by key date fields. You can sort records by either In Status Since (the time of the last registration status update) or by Date From (the registration start date), in either ascending or descending order.

Days Counter
Two parameters enable administrators to effectively monitor pending registrations by defining thresholds for highlighting delayed transfer and returned registrations in the system. Registrations that exceed these thresholds will have the "In Status Since" column highlighted in red, allowing administrators to identify and address delayed cases quickly.
Transfer Request Days to Respond
Applies to official player registrations in the SUBMITTED or SUBMITTED INT status.
Highlights official player registrations where the previous registration status was either APPROVED or CONFIRMED, and the current status duration exceeds the threshold set in this parameter. This indicates that the releasing club has not provided a prompt response, and the transfer has been escalated for review to the administrator.
Returned Registration Days to Respond
Applies to transfer registrations in the RETURNED or RETURNED INT status.
Highlights registrations that have remained in the current status longer than the threshold set in this parameter. This indicates that the club has not provided the requested response in a timely manner, and the registration has been escalated for review to the administrator.

If you wish to set or update the above-mentioned deadlines for responding, please submit a support ticket.
Additional System Configurations
Approvals Based on the Rank
The approval responsibilities can vary depending on the configuration set by the association:
National Association Approvals: Registrations from clubs with higher ranks (e.g., the first four ranks) are typically reviewed and approved by administrators at the national level.
Sub-Association Approvals: Registrations from clubs with lower ranks may be delegated to regional association administrators for approval.
You can find more details about this configuration here.
Registration Dates
The management of registration dates depends on the association's configuration:
Editable Registration Dates:
In some associations, clubs can manually edit registration dates to reflect specific periods (e.g., start or end dates).
Fixed Registration Dates:
In other associations, registration dates are fixed (Date From: submission date, Date To: termination date) and cannot be changed by the club.
This ensures a standardized approach to registration periods across all submissions.
For any changes to the system's current behavior in your Association, please reach out by submitting a support ticket.
Processing a Registration
To update the status of a registration, you can click on the three dots in the rightmost column of the Approvals console.

Alternatively, you can click on any person’s registration, which will direct you to the Registration Detail. There, you will be able to access more information about the registration, including the status log, uploaded documents, personal data, and past registrations, before approving, rejecting, or returning the registration.
