Signing Up to COMET PLAY

COMET PLAY is an open service which means that anyone can create a user account. Once you have created an account you will be able to join public workspaces on COMET PLAY, or join private workspaces to which you have been previously invited.

In order to sign up:

• Go to the webpage of your COMET PLAY instance (e.g. https://play.fsf.fo; nzf.cometplay.net)

• Click the Signup button. 

• A Create your account pop-up box will appear, and you’ll be prompted to enter information such as your name, email address, and date of birth and you will be required to set up a password for s login.*

• Verify the CAPTCHA

• Thick the checkbox to confirm the Privacy Policy and/or Terms of Use

• The instructions to verify your email address will be sent to your e-mail address

• Check your inbox and click on the "Confirm my email" link to confirm your email address

• The system will notify you that you have confirmed your e-mail and you will be able to proceed with the login using your credentials

• Once you are logged in you will be redirected to the COMET Play Dashboard

Once you are logged in the COMET Play you will be able to join any public workspace without an invitation. You can find the list of available public workspaces by clicking on the button in the Dashboard or anytime later in the Manage menu.
