Course Privacy

To hide courses from public users, there is a “Privacy” switch on Course profiles in COMET. This feature might be used for specific organizational needs of the event, e.g., for seminars organized for a closed group of invited Clubs that should not be publicly accessible.

Courses categorized as private are not displayed under the Courses menu, i.e., they cannot be searched for or accessed without the direct URL.

To set the course as a private:

• Open a course profile in COMET and hit the Edit button

• Switch on the Private button at the bottom left corner of the screen

• Use the Copy Application Link button at the top right corner of the screen to invite the applicant to the private course

• Click on the 💾 Save button to save changes

Please consider that the privacy status will be indicated on the Course List.
