System Access
Comet is an internet-based application, which means that it can be accessed by anyone, anywhere and anytime. The system is available 24h per day, 365 days per year. The only prerequisites for access are an internet connection and assigned credentials (username and password).
All data, user configurations, and processes are stored in one location – at the Comet Cloud (datacentre). New records or changes to existing records are immediately visible to all other users of the system, based on their level of access.
Access via Web Browser
The system is accessed through any common web browser. However, we recommend Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. No other software installation is required on your computer.
After opening the browser, you need to:
Enter the Comet web address
Enter your username and password
Note: You also have access to the system's demo (learning) version. To access the demo version, use the same username & password as for the "real" (production) version. This version looks exactly like the real one, but the data stored there is irrelevant – so you will be able to learn, test, and try things on the demo version freely, without fear of doing any damage.
Mobile Version Access
Native apps are installed through an application store such as Google Play or App Store.
To access the mobile version:
Open the Google Play/App Store on your device
Enter the keyword ‘COMET Football' in the search box.
Follow the instructions from your device and install the last version of the application.
All functions and instructions for COMET Football usage are described in the section: COMET Football Apps Please check that section for reference user documentation for mobile apps.
