Player Transfers
In simplest terms, a transfer of a player between two clubs will manifest in COMET as:
termination of the registration for the releasing club (and termination of the contract, if applicable),
new registration of a player for the engaging club.
Based on the relationship between the parent association of releasing and engaging clubs, we can identify two types of transfers:
Domestic - clubs are in the same country (FIFA member association), and
International - clubs are in different countries (FIFA member associations).
