Message Templates
COMET Announcements allow you to create reusable message templates (e.g. New user messages, Seminar invitations, Meeting invitations, General notifications).
The use of message templates speeds up and optimizes communication and organizational processes within the organization.
The purpose of Message Templates is to (re)use them in campaigns for all repetitive actions of the organization, such as Holiday announcements, Official notifications, Status of registration updates, Change password requests, and others.
Create Message Template
Access COMET Announcements
Select the Message template menu from the left nav-bar
Hit the Add button at the top right corner to create a new Message template
This opens the new Message template pop-up window with the data fields:
Template name
Template Subject
The message body (text formatting, hyperlink insertion, picture insertion, adding attachments, etc)
After entering all the Message template details, hit the 💾 Save button
Once the Message template is saved you are able to (re)use it in the Campaigns.
Group Variable
Message variables are the body of text that you can assign a personalization tag to and use in any campaign/template email (i.e. variables enable you to automate the personalization of your messages).
For example, the variables from the message template in the example above will be replaced with the data of each individual recipient from the distribution group list:

Once the message template is created, there is a direct link for creating a campaign from the message template. Please access this link by clicking on the three dots icon in the template entry.
