Approvals based on Club Rank
Registration approval authorizations in general follow a hierarchical structure. For instance, a player registration submitted by a club can be reviewed and confirmed by any Player Administrator above in club's hierarchy.
For example, if the club is affiliated to a Regional Association, and that Regional Association is under the National Association, responsible administrators in both the Regional and National Association will be authorized to approve and administer registrations of that club.
It is possible to override this rule and configure that the registrations of clubs of certain ranks are always reviewed and administered by the National Association, irrespective of that club's position in the organizational hierarchy.
In this case, administrators in club's hierarchy, but at lower levels (e.g. Regional Association or League) will not be able to approve or administer registrations, instead they will have the same authorizations as the club.
This allows federations to share approval responsibilities — for example, national administrators handle top-tier clubs, while regional administrators oversee local or amateur ones.
For this feature to work correctly, two configurations are essential:
Set the Rank for Each Club
In the Club Profile, assign the club a Rank (e.g., Rank 1, Rank 4, Rank 7).
The rank represents the club’s level in your association’s hierarchy — for example, professional, semi-professional, or amateur.

Set System Parameter Lowest Rank Managed by Tenant (via COMET Support)
The configuration that defines which ranks are managed nationally and which are governed regionally can only be set by the COMET Support team.
If your Association wants to adjust these settings, please submit ticket to our Support portal.
We will update the parameters in the Admin application, ensuring that registrations are automatically delegated to the correct level for approval.
Example:
If Lowest Rank Managed by Tenant is null, themn
Clubs ranked 1–4 → Managed by the National Association
Clubs ranked 5 and below (including empty rank) → Managed by Regional Associations or Leagues
A registration submitted by HNK Hajduk Split (Rank 1) is sent to HNS (National Association) Administrator for approval, eventhough Hajduk is affiliated to Split/Dalmatia Regional Association, and not to HNS directly.
A registration submitted by NK Imotski (Rank 5) is sent to Split/Dalmatia Regional Association for approval (where NK Imotsk is affiliated). Neverthless, HNS as the National Association retains administrative authorizations.
If a club’s rank is missing or incorrect, registrations might be accesible by the wrong level for approval — so maintaining correct ranks is crucial.
Ranks and the Approvals Console
The Club Rank is not only used to define approval responsibilities — it also appears as a filter in the Registration Approvals Console.
This means administrators can easily view and process registrations based on club level (for example, “show only Rank 1 clubs”).
Please note that the Club Rank is is not the same field as FIFA Category
